More about Canine Hanna Somatics

Canine Hanna Somatics® (CHS) is a gentle, hands-on approach that supports your dog's movement, comfort and overall Dog Wellbeing.

Dogs may experience changes in movement, posture or muscle tension for many reasons.

CHS takes a gentle movement method that works with the the brain, nervous system and muscles. By encouraging greater body awareness and reeducating the brain’s control of muscles to improve natural movement patterns, it can support relaxation, mobility and comfort.

Unlike approaches that focus solely on a specific physical concern, Canine Hanna Somatics® considers how they move and respond as a whole.

For owners exploring Dog wellbeing, Canine Hanna Somatics® can be one part of a broader approach to supporting a dog's comfort and quality of life. It can also complement other professional complementary care, including Dog Physiotherapy and other therapeutic approaches.

Every dog is different, so each session is adapted to their individual needs and carried out at their own pace
